Junior Zookeepers Chehaw also has a program for those younger than 18 years of age that wish to volunteer. Junior Zookeepers are teen volunteers (13-17 years old) that are interested in volunteering as camp counselors, exhibit hosts, and animal care volunteers. Dues will remain the same, $50 for one year. All Junior Zookeeper applicants for the 2012 program will need to fill out the Junior Zookeeper application and return it to the Volunteer Coordinator (Morgan Seegmueller). Junior Zookeepers will also participate in a short interview with a member of the Education Staff. There will be two mandatory training sessions for all Junior Zookeepers, new and returning.
