Outreach

Can't make it to Chehaw? Bring the Zoo to you with one of our customizable outreach programs.

Our Education Department offers special offsite Animal Programs for your group as well. Participants get to meet, and even touch, our Animal Ambassadors. Presentations are 30 minutes in length and $95 for up to 100 people. Additional programs for groups this size can be added for $75. Presentations are 30 minutes in length and $165 for over 100 people. Additional programs for groups this size can be added for $140. An additional fee of $1/mile may apply for locations outside of Dougherty or Lee County..

Chehaw can set up a booth at your event with various biofacts and Animal Ambassadors for up to 3 hours for $375. Additional time can be added for $70 an hour. An additional fee of $1/mile may apply for locations outside of Dougherty or Lee County.

Programs align with the Georgia Performance Standards. Ask Educators for a list of offerings, or work with our Education Department to tailor a program to the special needs of your class.
