Good Nights At The Swamp (GNATS) gives children the chance to do things they never thought possible like SPENDING THE NIGHT IN THE ZOO! When the lights go out, Chehaw comes to life. We start the evening by taking a night hike around the zoo. After seeing some of Chehaw’s native night time creatures, you will get the opportunity to meet some nocturnal animals during hands-on animal encounters. We conclude the evening fireside with stories and smores. In the morning you will wake to an energizing breakfast, and then we go to the zoo where you get to help the zoo keepers “wake” the animals in an exclusive behind the scenes tour! This program is perfect for schools, scout troops, birthday parties, and any group looking for some fun! Not only is this program fun, but it is based around the GPS, so it easy to incorporate into any teacher’s curricula. We have two themes: nocturnal animals and endangered species.
